Terms and Conditions Matchmaking Platform

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Legacy Match (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a members-only, values-based relationship platform designed for intentional, search-based connection between adults seeking long-term relationships or marriage.
By accessing or using Legacy Match, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Legacy Match. By creating an account, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
2. Platform Purpose
Legacy Match is a private, subscription-based platform designed for individuals seeking serious, long-term relationships based on shared values, lifestyle compatibility, and intentional connection. Legacy Match is not a casual dating app. It does not use swiping, likes, or algorithmic matchmaking. All discovery is user-driven through search, filters, and profile browsing.
3. Accounts and Profiles
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity under their account. You agree that your profile information—including photos, bio, values, and preferences—may be visible to other subscribed members depending on your privacy settings. We reserve the right to review, approve, or remove profiles that violate community standards or appear inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Legacy Match operates on a paid subscription model. Access to certain features, including the member directory and profile viewing, may require an active subscription. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing based on your selected plan until canceled. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Access will remain active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. We do not guarantee refunds except where required by law or explicitly stated in a separate refund policy.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use Legacy Match respectfully and lawfully. You must not:
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload false, misleading, or inappropriate content
- Use the platform for spam, solicitation, or commercial promotion
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or misuse member data
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
We reserve the right to remove users who violate these rules.
6. Interest Requests and Connections
Legacy Match allows users to send “Interest Requests” to other members. Communication or messaging may only occur after mutual interest is established. We do not guarantee that any connection or relationship will result from use of the platform.
7. Content and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you submit, including profile information and photos. However, by using the platform, you grant Legacy Match a limited license to display your content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in behavior that harms the integrity of the community. You may also delete your account at any time.
9. No Guarantees
Legacy Match does not guarantee matches, relationships, or outcomes. The platform provides tools for discovery and intentional connection, but all relationships are formed independently by users.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Match is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the platform, including interactions with other users. You use the platform at your own risk.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Legacy Match after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
